A rainy weekend didn't stop DC participants from raising over 5.2 Million for Metro area early detection and education centers.

Meet Sandra Jordan, she walks in every city. This year she will participate in 8. She raises money for her trips by selling buttons, and bracelets in the Wellness Village.

Two dedicated Crew Members are all smiles. Crew Members helped walkers by cheering them on at Rest Stops and wherever help was needed. Many  walkers said they couldn't have "made it up those hills in the rain had it not been for the people cheering them on"

An Estimated 2,200 people walked; in the rain. The spirt was electric and most everyone had a smile, the sentiment was soggy- but everyone agreed  walking through rain to eradicate cancer was a worthwhile experience.
